Meet Borstelbeer
Borstelbeer repairs electric toothbrushes.
It began with one broken brush and a simple question: why throw away a good motor because one battery died?
The answer was that fixing it was nobody’s job. So we made it ours. Brushes now arrive from all over the Netherlands, by post or straight onto the workbench in Delft, and go home working, tested and guaranteed.
We’d like repair to be the normal thing, not the exception.
What we care about

Repair over replace
Throwing away a working motor because one part failed is a waste, not a fact of life. Here, repair is the default.
Repaired to last
Every repaired brush is tested and waterproof, and carries a one-year guarantee. If the repair fails, we fix it again.
Local and circular
Workshop in Delft, grown inside Circle Lab - New Future Lab’s circular-economy programme, set up with the Municipality of Delft.
